Live Stream Design & Set Up
Like many churches, Faith Community Church Lakeside’s live stream was nothing more than an extra mix coming from the sound board. The stream system designed for them made use of their already present digital sound board, a Mac Mini, Studio One, and a Focusrite audio interface to create a physical loopback through the sound board to add a layer of redundancy.
Their stream features a custom stream template in Studio One that allows for easy mixing, with built in processing to improve clarity for vocals and speakers. The template also includes a custom mix based on their musicians and backing tracks.
Three Springs Ministries
Horse Arena Sound System Installation
Three Springs Ministries’ Barn was in need of a loudspeaker system that could be used for classes. This project presented a unique need in which the teacher would need to be mobile, be it on foot or horseback, as well as have the ability to use the entire horse arena without causing feedback. They also requested to be able to connect a device to the system to play music.
This project needed to be accomplished using spare equipment they had available as there was no budget to purchase new equipment. In the end, the system made use of a single JBL active loudspeaker mounted high up and positioned to cover a wide area. A small sound board was set up in the wall to control the wireless headset and music feeds.
